1st day treatment
I remember when Nita first called me and told me she found a lump in her breast- then when test came back- before the words came out of her mouth I just had the sinking feeling that it was cancer because all of her smoking.
Yesterday was Nita's first day of treatment. Around 2:30, takes 15 min. each day. They upped her pain med. Hopefully, this will help her to be pain free. Some are after first treatment and others don't notice it till the last.

ReplyDeleteLynda, I came here to thank you for your compassion and prayers earlier this summer when my husband passed away. Your words brought me solace and strength. But coming here, my heart is broken to learn of Nita's fight. I will keep all of you in my prayers and hope that Nita is responding well to treatment.
